Orient ourselves: cartography elements
Objective
Learn the fundamental principals of orientation and learn how to read a topographic map.Theoretical part
Brief story of cartography, explanation of the symbols used in maps, how to orient ourselves and explanation of the devices of orientation (such us compass, altimeter and sextant).
Practical part
We will walk outdoors orienting through the use of map and compass, learning how to recognize the elements showed on the topographic map.
