Villa Baciocchi offers its visitors not only the areas of the main building which houses the museums and services of Capannoli Municipality, but also offers its striking underground area recently restored. Probably built and used as cellars, these characteristic and perfectly preserved areas bring back memories of the origin of the villa, in fact throughout the 19th century it was used as a farm-house.

Those areas were used as storage for the harvest of the property (oil, wine, wheat) and wheat silos, cellar with vaulted ceilings that can be reach through a stenographic terracotta-tile staircase are still visible.
