Objective

The aim of the modules proposed is to make student understand, through a historical and artistic course, the importance of the clay as a tool for telling and representing how our ancestor lived, accompanying the human being to the present day.
The workshop is divided into two modules:

1) GREEK VASE

Theoretical part

The aim of the first module is to let the student to understand how Greeks used the clay and its importance in the cultural and socio-economic fabric of Greek civilization.

Practical part

Students will be involved in the realization of a Colombino technique.

2) THEATER MASKS

Theoretical part

The aim of the second module is to reproduce a theater mask through the sculpture and low-relief technique.

Practical part

The students can paint the mask created with decoration and typical color of the time. The decoration will be fixed with a particular cold technique. The modules are made by three meetings of two hours each.

Each module takes place in 3 meetings lasting 2 hours each.
